Park Hyatt Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort Opening Set for December 3
Park Hyatt will open its first all-inclusive luxury resort on Mexico's Caribbean coast on December 3, 2026. The 148-room property in Riviera Maya will offer à la carte dining and personalized service.

Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will open as Mexico's first all-inclusive Park Hyatt resort on December 3, 2026. Hyatt plans to debut the world’s first all-inclusive Park Hyatt on a secluded stretch of the Caribbean coast by the end of that year. The resort will operate on an all-inclusive format featuring à la carte dining and personalized pre-arrival planning for guests.
Luxury Offerings
The resort will feature 148 rooms, including 42 suites. Every accommodation will offer sea views and a private terrace. Select room categories will include private pools and jacuzzis.
Facilities and Location
Situated within the private AMAI coastal enclave, the property is approximately 20 minutes from Cancún International Airport. It will house seven restaurants and bars. Facilities will include a spa, a gym, an oceanfront pool, and an outdoor spa garden. Guests will also have access to the nearby El Tinto Golf Course.
Design and Service
The design incorporates regional craftsmanship within a contemporary framework. The resort will provide meeting and event spaces suitable for weddings, celebrations, and business gatherings. A core part of its positioning strategy is an emphasis on highly personalized service.
This opening is part of a broader luxury expansion for Hyatt in the Americas. Another Grand Hyatt with 500 rooms is scheduled to open in Puerto Cancún in December. Park Hyatt will soon have three properties in Mexico: the Pacific coast's Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, which welcomed guests in December 2025, this Caribbean shoreline resort, and a forthcoming Park Hyatt in Mexico City’s Polanco district slated for spring 2027.
The Mexico City property will contain 155 rooms and suites on Campos Elíseos overlooking Chapultepec Park, incorporating Mexican art, design, and cuisine. Hyatt’s growth also includes additions to The Unbound Collection. The adults-only, all-inclusive Impression Isla Mujeres will join that collection on November 2, 2026. The Clayfield, a wine-country retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, has also been added.
The Unbound Collection will launch an experiences programme in 2026. It will offer private culinary and wine activities plus access to local artists and cultural venues. Participating properties include The Georgian in Santa Monica, Hotel La Compañía Casco Antiguo in Panama, and Impression Isla Mujeres. Hyatt’s global brand leader for luxury stated the expansion focuses on hotels with individual character, considered design, and personal service.
Elsewhere in Riviera Maya, the 60-acre Alila Mayakoba resort opened in February 2026. It features 182 rooms, suites, and villas, six dining venues, and an Alila Spa. From October 1, 2026, that property and three other Alila resorts will join Erewhon’s Member Lifestyle Collective.
Further Grand Hyatt resorts are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman, Grand Hyatt Cancun, and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos are all expected to open then. The Grand Hyatt Cancun and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos properties will introduce all-inclusive stays to that brand’s Americas portfolio. The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is set to welcome its first guests on December 3, 2026.
